Private Yoga in San Francisco

Personalized one-on-one yoga instruction designed around your body, goals and experience.

If you want to build strength, improve mobility, refine your alignment, deepen your practice, or simply receive more individual attention, private sessions give us the space to work specifically on what you need.

Private Yoga is for You if...

  • You want more individual guidance than you can get in a group class

  • You want to improve strength, mobility, balance or flexibility

  • You’re working toward specific poses or movement goals

  • You want help refining alignment, transitions, or technique

  • You want a practice tailored to your body, schedule, and experience

  • You’re new to yoga and/or a group class feels intimidating or overwhelming

  • You’re returning to yoga after time away

How Private Sessions Work

Every private session is built around you. We’ll start with your goals, experience and any areas you want to focus on, then create a practice that meets you where you are.

Sessions may include:

  • Personalized vinyasa sequencing

  • Strength and mobility work

  • Alignment and technique

  • Pose-specific coaching

  • Balance and stability

  • Breathwork and meditation practice

  • Home-practice recommendations

Sessions are available in San Francisco, the greater Bay Area, or online, and may take place at an agreed-upon studio, home, or private space depending on availability.

Mary Polizzotti private yoga teacher san francisco

My teaching combines more than 20 years of yoga practice with a background in classical ballet, dance and movement.

I teach dynamic, intelligently sequenced vinyasa with an emphasis on strength, mobility, breath and thoughtful progression. In private sessions, that same approach becomes completely individualized, allowing us to slow down, troubleshoot specific challenges and build a practice around your goals.
